HOW THEY MET
Lynsey and Tim had worked together for 3 years before going out on a date.
THE PROPOSAL
Tim proposed to Lynsey whilst they were having a romantic meal in a fabulous restaurant in New York.
SHE WORE
Lynsey found her stunning fairytale dress in Diva in Barnsley. The Sincerity full skirted gown was encrusted with beautiful delicate beads and crystals.
ACCESSORIES
Lynsey's amazing shoes were called Paris designed by Rainbow club. Her pretty teardrop earrings were bought in Chisholm Hunter Jewellers in Nottingham and her ivory bag was bought from John Lewis.
HE WORE
Tim hired the suits from Suits You. He wore a Black Spirit Kilt with a green and white shirt, and an amazing dusky pink Van Hausen tie.
THE BRIDESMAIDS
Lynsey's matron of honour wore a beautiful outfit from Coast which was a champagne coloured fishtail skirt with an embroidered basque. She also wore a dusky pink silk stole to finish of the complete look.
THE FAVOURS
The children were all given a teddy bear, a candy cane and a bottle of bubbles. The ladies all had traditional sugared almonds and the men lottery tickets - all wrapped in dusky pink embroidered ribbon.
THE RECEPTION
The table centres were tall vases with three long stemmed grand prix roses in each. Emily and Mark made the menus, place cards and table numbers themselves with black card and gold stamps, and they all had quotes on from their favourite poems, or from famous love letters.
SPECIAL MOMENTS
"It was the most magical day of our lives. The piper played after the ceremony and whilst we were having drinks in the old castle library, with it's wonderfully hidden bar in the bookcase. We only had 18 guests of close family so we had one large table which was really fantastic. There were original suits of armour in sections of the castle walls."
THE CAKE
Their cake was simple yet stunning. All 3 tiers were iced in white with delicate beading to finish it off. The top tier was shared between the guests at the castle and they saved the other two for their reception back in Nottingham. The cake was also decorated with fresh pink rose buds.
BRIDES TIP
"I would suggest making your own invitations, place names and favours, we did this and saved ourselves hundreds of pounds. We also saved a lot of money just having immediate family to our wedding and then having a reception later - with a buffet of hot and cold food."
GROOMS TIP
"Don't drink any alcohol until after the speeches - keep a clear head, you won't want to miss a thing."
THE HONEYMOON
Lynsey and Tim spent two fantastic weeks in Egypt. They enjoyed an amazing Nile Cruise followed by a relaxing week in Cairo and the Red Sea Riviera.
