Bovey Castle’s accommodation is truly five star, with 63 well-equipped bedrooms and suites, Rose Cottage, which overlooks the gold course and 22 modern lodges, perfect for any hen or stag party. You can dine or have your wedding reception in the Art Deco-style Palm Court Restaurant, or if you prefer a little more privacy, there are seven private dining spaces. As you wander around the piano bar, library and mews, you really get the feeling of complete relaxation and that this luxurious country retreat is a real home from home.
Can you get married here?
Yes, they have several licensed rooms for civil ceremonies and partnership ceremonies, for up to 200 guests. You can even get married outside under the gazebo in the beautifully manicured gardens, and then retire to the terrace for your Pimms reception!

Bovey Castle is the perfect place for an activity-led hen and stag weekend. With over 70 leisure pursuits, you won’t get bored here – there’s everything from archery, fishing and golf to 4x4 off-road driving, falconry and croquet. If you’re feeling a little less active, you can have a range of pampering treatments in the spa, with its Jacuzzi, gym, sun deck, hydrotherapy pool and holistic therapies. You and the girls can also have a wine-tasting evening in the wine cellar with the hotel’s own sommelier.
