HOW THEY MET
Louise and Keith met online on an internet dating site four and a half years ago.
THE PROPOSAL
One Saturday night after a long day at work Louise and Keith decided to have a quiet night in with an Indian takeaway. Keith had previously gone out and bought the engagement ring and surprised her that night by proposing!
SHE WORE
Louise’s beautiful satin dress was by Maggie Sottero 'Felicity'. The strapless gown had a sweetheart neckline and an asymmetrical waist drape with a corset style back. It was embellished with stunning Swarovski crystals, beads and pearls.
ACCESSORIES
Louise wore a fabulous crystal daisy tiara with matching necklace and earrings, which were bought from Butler and Wilson in London. She carried a stylish bag which matched the dress and wore Rainbow Club 'Angel' shoes from their Bliss range which were extremely comfortable to wear.
HE WORE
Keith hired all the grooms wear from Youngs Suit Hire. They accessorized the Prince Edward style suits with pink silk cravats, waistcoats and handkerchiefs. To make Keith different from the other grooms men he hired an elegant black velvet Edward jacket from Pronuptia in Derby.
BRIDESMAIDS
The two adult bridesmaids wore beautiful Alfred Angelo strapless, puddle-train dresses in pink sorbet which matched in with the colour theme for the day. The younger bridesmaid wore a complimentary satin and organza ballerina style dress also in pink sorbet.
FLOWERS
The stunning bouquet was a mixture of pink and cream flowers with diamante trimmed ivory feathers and pink/ivory ribbon.
TRANSPORT
The two vintage cars were hired from Etwall Classic Wedding Cars in Derby - very elegant and in keeping with the Classic Wedding theme.
RECEPTION
The reception was held in Breadsall Priory's Haslam Suite, a classical room full of charm. Louise and Keith decorated the tables with over-sized brandy glasses filled with pink and ivory flowers and church candles. To complete the look they covered the chairs with stylish white chair covers and pink sashes to continue the classical theme.
CAKE
The delicious three tier cake was decorated with white chocolate curls, each layer being a different flavour - lemon, chocolate, and vanilla. It was topped off beautifully with coordinating pink and ivory flowers.
FAVOURS
Louise and Keith gave their guests four Thorntons chocolates in a box embellished with a pretty silver satin ribbon. The children were treated to gift bags filled to the brim with various sweets.
MUSIC
They decided on a disco for the evening celebrations provided by Eddie Gold Roadshow – a DJ regularly used and recommended by the hotel.
BRIDES TIP
“Try and decide what is important to you as a couple and try to stay within your budget as much as possible. Make sure your budget is realistic after finding out rough prices and costs - think about what is 'a must have' before you break the bank. Also think about what is important and listen to advice from other brides - it really is a big help and online forums are a definite help.”
HONEYMOON
The couple went to the amazing Kota Kinabalu in Borneo for their Honeymoon; they visited the world famous orangutan sanctuary and got very close to the orangutans making their trip a once in a lifetime experience, never to be forgotten.
GROOMS TIP
“The Vicar's top tip that he shared with me on the day was ‘learn these two words… yes dear!’'
